    Public Notice

    Mountain State University is seeking comments from the public about the University in preparation for its evaluation by its regional accrediting agency. The University will undergo a Show Cause visit February 13-15, 2012, by a team representing The Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. Mountain State University received candidacy for accreditation by the Commission in 1977 and received full accreditation status in 1981.

    The team will review the institution's compliance with the Commission's Criteria for Accreditation, specifically Criterion 1, Core Component 1d; Criterion 2, Core Component 2b; and Criterion 3, Core Component 3d.

    The public is invited to submit comments regarding the University:
