Mountain State University's Strategic Plan for 2011-2016
In April of 2011 the Deans presented their goals to the University Steering Committee. The Committee, including administrators, faculty, staff, and students, held a two-day retreat May 31-June 1, 2011, which was facilitated by Dr. George Walker. As a result of this retreat, the four priorities from the Deans' Council were aligned with goals and action plans, and framed as strategic intents within the University's Strategic Plan. Additionally, the University Steering Committee planned for an extended review of the strategic plan and planning process to be completed by the end of the Fall 2011 term.
To date significant developments associated with these strategic intents have occurred and the academic priorities identified by the Deans' Council have been seamlessly incorporated into the overall Strategic Plan.
