What certifications are available?

A certified fraud examiner, CFE, is the globally preferred credential in fraud examination awarded by the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE). The ACFE is the world's largest anti-fraud organization, with more than 55,000 members. MSU's degree tracks in forensic accounting and fraud examination help prepare students to sit for the CFE exam. Accounting concentration graduates with a CPA may also be interested in pursuing the Certified Forensic Accountant (Cr.FA). Requirements are listed on the American College of Forensic Examiners International (ACFEI) website.
