Business Administration - Health Care Management

Health care is a business and, like every other business, it needs good management to run smoothly. Medical and health services managers, also referred to as health care executives or health care administrators, plan, direct, coordinate, and supervise the efficient delivery of quality health care.

Employers in the health care industry look for managers who are familiar not only with health care but also with business management principles. The health care management concentration prepares graduates for leadership and management roles within one of the fastest growing industries in the U.S.

The Bachelor of Science in business administration with a concentration in health care management is offered online and on the main campus in Beckley. Students on the Martinsburg campus can pursue this concentration through a combination of traditional, independent, and online study.
