Emergency Medical Services
Mountain State University's associate degree in emergency medical services is designed for working paramedics who want to expand their professional opportunities with a college degree.
Why MSU for Emergency Medical Services?
The program provides 40 hours of credit for those with current NREMT registration and an additional 6 hours based on documentation of additional learning. With this 46 hours of credit (awarded at no charge upon completion of 12 additional hours at MSU), students can receive an A.S. degree after as little as a year of study. The degree program dovetails with many of the University's bachelor's degree curricula and is structured to accommodate the schedules of working paramedics.
Two specialized tracks, one in management and one in science, allow students to focus on either administrative or medical skills.
