Nursing at Mountain State University
Nursing remains a strong career option in health care, combining high-demand with numerous paths for specialization and career growth. MSU offers several nursing programs, each designed for individuals at different levels and interests.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing This program is designed for individuals who do not currently hold RN status and are interested in completing the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program. NOTE: At the current time, this program is undergoing reconstruction and we are not accepting applications.
RN-BSN For students who are already a registered nurse, MSU offers a BSN completion program specifically designed for working nurse. To qualify for admission, applicants must have graduated from an accredited state-approved program with a GPA of 2.75 or above and hold a current unencumbered RN license.
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) MSU's Master of Science in Nursing program prepared nurses for advanced practice roles in a variety of settings. Most students continue to work full- or part-time while attending classes. MSU offers two concentrations in the MSN program, administration/education concentration and a family nurse practitioner concentration.
