About the MSU Alumni Association

Our Mission

The mission of the MSU Alumni Association is to encourage a spirit of loyalty, pride, and commitment among the alumni and students of Mountain State University, and to promote a mutually beneficial relationship between the University and its alumni.

Membership

Every graduate of Mountain State University is considered a member of the MSU Alumni Association. The association also extends membership to non-graduates who have successfully completed at least one semester or a total of 12 credit hours at Mountain State University, The College of West Virginia, or Beckley College.

About the Alumni Shield

The Alumni Shield was created to unite the Alumni of Beckley College, The College of West Virginia, and Mountain State University. It includes the colors of each school and is tied together by the MSU flame logo.
