Mountain State basketball coach Bob Bolen celebrates becoming West Virginia all-time winningest college basketball coach after the Cougars defeated Talladega 84-67 Thursday night at the Beckley-Raleigh County Convention Center.

He won the NAIA National Championship in 2004 and has been runner up in 2003, 2008, and 2011. Over the last ten seasons he has a record of 308-42 (.880), the best of any college coach in the country. Bolen Breaks Record
David Nyarsuk scored 19 points and grabbed 14 rebounds as NAIA No. 2 Mountain State beat Division I Morehead State 84-69 Thursday night in an exhibition game at Johnson Arena. It was the Cougars’ first win over a Division I opponent in school history.
Morehead knocked out Louisville in the first round of the NCAA Tournament last March. 
Similarities abound between the men’s and women’s soccer programs at Mountain State University heading into this season’s fall campaigns.
