MSU Pep Band
Canadian Brass, Classical and Classic Rock: What do they have in common? The MSU Pep Band! The MSU Pep Band is a group of musicians formed from some of the musicians involved in the New River Area Concert Band, plus additional students who enjoy regularly performing modern, upbeat tunes for the Cougar Basketball home game crowds.
The MSU Pep Band gives an added dimension to the support behind Cougar Basketball. Because the program is information, each home game performance varies by the number of musicians, and therefore, the type of music that is played. For some home games, we’ll have a full of twenty. For others, a group of five entertains with the same enthusiasm. Cougar fans love the variety and the added touch of spirit that the MSU Pep Band brings to the game.
