Career Services

Career preparation and development is an integral part of the educational mission of Mountain State University. An education from MSU provides students with the skills and knowledge needed for success in the real world. We are committed to providing you with quality counseling and education services, and are here to help you create your own personal career-action plan.

Career Services provides MSU students with a variety of career-related services, including assistance in resume writing, career selection and planning, interview preparation, and individualized counseling for students interested in finding employment. Students are encouraged to make an appointment by contacting Anita Davis at 304-929-1461 or adavis@mountainstate.edu.

The Robert C. Byrd Learning Resource Center has additional career guidance resources. Students may also consult the internal and external job openings regularly posted on campus.

Employment Referral Services

If you are seeking employment, you can register to have your information included in the Career Services Department database. Career Services will then regularly forward this information to prospective employers.
