POSITION: Adjunct Faculty - Spectrum Program Morgantown Area

Mountain State University seeks adjunct faculty to teach in MSU’s general education program called Spectrum. The Spectrum program integrates first and second year college studies within a cohort learning environment, enabling the adult student to take groups of related classes emphasizing real-world connections between subjects, and allowing students to meet in compressed classes one evening a week for approximately eighteen months.

Instructors are needed in the Morgantown areas:
MSU needs instructors in these curricular areas:
Anatomy Physiology Lab I & II
Microbiology

MSU welcomes applications from those possessing the following requirements:

Education—Must possess an appropriate master’s degree from a regionally accredited university (doctorate preferred).

Experience—Must have prior teaching experience (experience in teaching adult learners and in a cohort or distance learning program preferred).

Technology—Must have immediate access to an internet-capable computer to support e-mail communications with students and to use some teaching materials.
