POSITION: Adjunct Faculty – Spectrum Program – various locations
QUALIFICATIONS:
The successful candidates must have prior teaching experience (experience in teaching adult learners in a cohort or distance learning preferred); must possess an appropriate master’s degree from a regionally accredited university (doctorate preferred)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Essential functions of the job include, but are not limited to the following: to teach in MSU’s general education program, Spectrum; this program integrates first and second year college studies within a cohort learning environment, enabling the adult student to take groups of related classes emphasizing real-world connections between subjects and allowing students to meet in compressed classes one evening per week for approximately eighteen months.
Instructors are needed in the following areas: Beckley, Logan, Welch, Pineville, Princeton/Bluefield, Clarksburg, Fairmont, Summersville, Buckhannon, Charleston, Huntington, Pt. Pleasant/ St. Mary’s
