Faculty Position

POSITION: Graduate Adjunct Faculty, Psychology

QUALIFICATIONS:
The successful candidate must have a doctorate from a regionally accredited institution in psychology; detailed knowledge of graduate student concerns from a faculty perspective; university level experience with curriculum and assessment; teaching expertise within area of specialization; excellent interpersonal communication skills both oral and written; excellent analytical skills; excellent advising skills; excellent record keeping skills; excellent teaching/academic skills; proficiency in MS Word.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Essential functions of the job include, but are not limited to the following: part-time teaching of classes in a cohort and working with thesis and project students; working with advising and assessment relating to graduate students; curriculum development and review; providing resources and advising for graduate faculty and committees. This position reports directly to the Director of psychology/Graduate Interdisciplinary Director, but also is responsible to the Dean of Graduate Studies.

EFFECTIVE:
