Faculty Position

POSITION: Nursing Faculty – Nontraditional Nursing- Central Region

QUALIFICATIONS:
The successful candidate must have a MSN degree, master’s focus in nursing education preferred, earned doctorate preferred, must have an unencumbered WV Nursing License and valid driver’s license, 1-2 years teaching experience (didactic and clinical) preferably in an accredited nursing program, 2 years nursing practice experience. (Huntington area preferred.)

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Essential functions of the job include, but are not limited to the following: provide quality instruction to a diverse student population in classroom and/or clinical setting, assist in the continued development and evaluation of the nursing program, follow content outlines and course objectives, evaluate student performance, participate in faculty meetings and serve on departmental committees, maintain university required training and continuing ed, participate in commencement.

EFFECTIVE:
Immediate. Position will remain open until filled.
