Faculty Position

POSITION: Full Time Medical Assisting Faculty

QUALIFICATIONS:
The successful candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in related business or health care field, master’s degree preferred; minimum of three years postsecondary teaching experience in medical assisting or related field required; minimum of three years experience in the medical coding and billing filed required; minimum of three years administrative and clinical experience required; current CMA or RMA credential preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Essential functions of the job include, but are not limited to the following: full time 12 month faculty; competency-based instruction of administrative and clinical courses in the Medical Assisting department; assisting with coordination and management of student practica, externships and internships; academic advising; curriculum development.

EFFECTIVE:
Immediate. Position will remain open until filled.
