POSITION: CIS Instructor

QUALIFICATIONS:
The successful candidate must have a master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field, PhD preferred; Microsoft certified professional preferred; effective organizational skills; ability to work independently; demonstrated ability to work with programming languages; ability to communicate effectively in English; 2 years experience in the following… programming languages, databases, office software, Microsoft server systems, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft SQL Server, various network protocols and services, Cisco network devices, WAN connections.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Essential functions of the job include, but are not limited to the following: maintain a curriculum in Information Technology that is consistent with University standards, prepare syllabi consistent with University policy, develop classroom instruction that is of high quality and is responsive to student career goals, serve on appropriate committees in the University, participate in and support the University’s advising function.
