Faculty PositionApplications are invited for a full-time assistant professor position at MSU to teach undergraduate/associate degree level general and civil engineering related courses and develop new courses as assigned by the school dean, which may include engineering graphics, engineering mechanics, hydraulics and hydrology, environmental geotechnic, and physics for engineers. The successful candidate is expected to initiate and maintain an externally funded research program that develops their expertise and contributes to existing interdisciplinary research thrusts within the department, school and university. The successful candidate must have both an earned doctorate degree and an earned bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, and be able to engage in student-centered research.
