POSITION: Full-Time Learning Facilitator School of Business and Technology

QUALIFICATIONS:
The Learning Facilitator is an earned M.B.A. from an accredited university, Ph.D. preferred with emphasis in management and/or marketing. The ideal candidate will have at least two years teaching experience with in-seat and online/Individualized Study instructional methods. This is a 12-month position and is not based upon course load per semester.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Learning Facilitator is a faculty position with the primary responsibility of providing a quality educational experience for Mountain State University students. The relationship between faculty member and student is one of teacher, mentor and facilitator of learning. Instructional related duties are performed by faculty members in accordance with the philosophy, mission, policies and procedures of the University. Essential functions of the job include, but are not limited to the following: coordinating and facilitating the delivery of selected courses in a blended format allowing students to direct their speed of learning. To provide tutoring support to students and meaningful instruction that is of high quality by ensuring that course content is presented in a professional manner. To create a learning environment in which all students are treated equitably and with respect.
