POSITION: Administrative Secretary for the School of Health & Sciences
QUALIFICATIONS:
An associate degree required, a bachelor degree preferred, from a regionally accredited institution and two years experience in higher education. Must have the ability to work with health sciences directors on a one-to-one basis; work individually or with a team; efficiently and accurately maintain a filing system and student needs; process documents, reports and data processing. This position requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills; self-motivated, organization and proficient in computer usage with experience in MS Word, Excel, Access, Power Point and Outlook. Must have the ability to interact well with administration, faculty and students.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The responsibilities of this position including with keeping official records and execute administrative policies determined by or in conjunctions with other officials, coordinate meetings, direct preparation of records, such as notices, minutes and resolutions from meetings, keeper of documents and records, direct preparation and filing of documents to conform with accreditation. Create the final forms of memos and other documents, maintains and organizes paper and computer files, making, receiving, and screening call and contacts. Help coordinate the School of Health Science pinning ceremony.
EFFECTIVE:
Immediate. Position will remain open until filled.
