POSITION: Administrative Secretary for Martinsburg Campus
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of a high School or GED, with an Associate’s Degree from a regionally accredited College or University strongly preferred. Must demonstrate good verbal communication, phone etiquette, customer service skills and must be able to handle multiple tasks. Knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Outlook, and Office required. In addition, basic PC troubleshooting knowledge is preferred. One year experience in professional setting with customer service required.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
To provide secretarial support and organize/facilitate daily activities. Answers incoming calls and walk-in inquires, and direct each to the proper department or person. Specific responsibilities include generation of Purchase Order Requests for Payment and Electronic Purchase Order Requisitions, travel requests, maintenance of appointment calendar, summarizing of student course evaluations, typing, filing, organizing copying, corresponding. To provide instructors with approved course syllabi, desk copies of course textbooks, class lists, as requested. Assist faculty with projects as needed.
EFFECTIVE:
Immediate. Position will remain open until filled.
