POSITION: Programmer (Application Developer)

QUALIFICATIONS:
The successful candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science (minimum) or equivalent field experience with 2 years experience with the overall software development life cycle (planning/engineering through testing) and the database development cycles. Microsoft certifications preferred but not required.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Essential functions of the job include, but are not limited to the following: designing, creating and maintaining computer and system applications to further the university’s Information Technology mission. Application development, write programs that will interact with Microsoft Active Directory, use and write programs that exchange data between Windows and other systems, assist Database Administrator in script analysis and report creation/modification, assist computer system users and trains users in use of applications developed by employee, analyze and develop applications suited for university use as determined by Director of IT.

EFFECTIVE:
