POSITION: Executive Director – Washington D.C. Campus
QUALIFICATIONS:
The successful candidate must have a master’s degree, doctorate preferred; experience in higher education, administration and management required; knowledge and ability to use Microsoft applications and use student database software; professional presentation skills as well as strong leadership skills and management abilities are highly desired; experience in student services, registrar duties, advising prospective and enrolled students, interaction with faculty as well as budget control; experience as faculty is desired but not mandatory; 1 year experience student advising, 3 years higher education administration, 3 years experience in program administration.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Essential functions of the job include, but are not limited to the following: management and supervisory responsibility to ensure that the following functions are effectively carried out; instruction and assessment, student services, learning resources, student recruiting and retention, student account management, campus personnel management, facilities management, technology management, marketing of the campus, budgeting, class offering planning and representing and promoting the University to all communities MSU serves; supervise and direct all support staff in his/her discretion to best serve the campus needs with regard to admitting students, coordinating applications, enrollment and registration, transcript valuation, associated advising report, ordering of text books and purchasing all campus items.
