POSITION: Administrative Secretary – Medical Assisting
QUALIFICATIONS:
The successful candidate must have an excellent knowledge of office skills/management required; knowledge of computer skills; graduate of accredited college or university with an associate’s degree in business or management preferred.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Essential functions of the job include, but are not limited to the following: managing the front office for the Medical Assisting department, keeping official records, advising students and other administrative duties as needed; schedule/screen visitors, schedule appointments, correspondence, assist in preparing program handbooks, assist with accreditation process, supervise work study students, prepare employment contracts for adjunct faculty, prepare textbook orders, assist with budgetary process, order supplies, prepare faculty workload reports, coordinate special events, coordinate departmental meetings, participate in commencement.
EFFECTIVE:
Immediate. Position will remain open until filled.
