POSITION: Information Technology Specialist – Martinsburg Campus
QUALIFICATIONS:
The successful candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree, preferred in Computer Science, Engineering, Networking, Information Technology or related field or equivalent experience or current certifications.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Essential functions of the job include, but are not limited to the following: assist university branch campus faculty and staff with a wide variety of computer and networking needs; install and trouble-shoot personal computers, cabling and networking equipment; correct problems and answer questions through in-person, telephone and email support; work directly with main campus IT Department to service the technology needs of the branch campus; maintain and secure the branch campus’ inventory of PCs and printers; investigate and correct network issues; provide support and maintenance for Cisco switches and routers as well as servers and other equipment as needed; install, trouble shoot and maintain Cisco telephones and other telecom equipment.
