POSITION: Assistant Clinical Coordinator / PA Faculty
QUALIFICATIONS:
The successful candidate must have a master’s degree in Physician Assistant Sciences or equivalent; NCCPA certification; must be licensable by the WV Board of Medicine or WV Osteopathic Board of Medicine; 2 years or greater experience as a practicing PA; teaching experience preferred.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Essential functions of the job include, but are not limited to the following: teaching responsibilities, student counseling, obtaining and managing clinical rotations, continuous communications with rotation sites, preceptors and students, assist in the development, implementation and evaluation of curriculum, participation in faculty meetings, development of learning objectives and competencies, assist the Director of Clinical Sciences in recruitment and maintenance of quality rotation sites, scheduling and preparing end of rotation seminars, administering end of rotation examinations, organizing guest lectures and participating in committees within and outside the department.
