POSITION: Director of Assessment
QUALIFICATIONS:
The successful candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in educational assessment, social sciences or related subject field and 1-2 years experience in an office setting; 1-2 years experience in the use of various office software including MS Office Professional; 2-3 years experience in assessment and evaluation.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Director of Assessment function is one with a focus on student learning improvement and student success. The individual in this position will serve as a member of the Assessment Committee and Assessment Academy team. The Director of Assessment will monitor and provide feedback for assessment information input into the University’s assessment management system, WEAVEonline. This individual provides professional development opportunities for faculty and staff on assessment issues. The Director of Assessment will evaluate assessment activities and outcomes to ensure their alignment with institutional goals and mission and prepare an annual institutional assessment report that demonstrates this alignment. All activities of the Assessment Director will have an emphasis on continuous improvement and strengthening the University’s assessment program.
