POSITION: Coordinator of Doctorate of Executive Leadership
QUALIFICATIONS:
The successful candidate must have a master’s degree from a regionally accredited institution with emphasis in Leadership, Adult Learning, Management, Psychology, Communication, Humanities or a related field.; a valid driver’s license is required for travel associated with meeting with cohort faculty and students; 2-3 years experience in problem solving within nontraditional higher education and organizational systems; 2-3 years experience research methods and consultation; 2-3 years experience in student advising at the post-secondary level; 2-3 years experience with online learning environments.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Essential functions of the job include, but are not limited to the following: assists the Associated Dean of DEL; working with doctoral students and other university constituencies; oversees the graduate admissions process for DEL students; advises graduate students about procedures; represents DEL to other institutional and external groups and researches and analyzes current curriculum in conjunction with the Associate Dean; works to develop academic assessment tools and methods; provides continuous and extensive analysis about retention and enrollment and advising about academic processes and services for the students in the DEL; organizes, informs and advises faculty and support staff in operational matters of student advising, program procedure and assessment.
