POSITION: Academic Advisor – Martinsburg Campus
QUALIFICATIONS:
The successful candidate must have a bachelor’s degree; at least 2 years experience in higher education, preferably in student services and be familiar with university programs; knowledge of an advising module is required; excellent verbal and written skills, computer skills; 1-2 years experience in an office setting.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Essential functions of the job include, but are not limited to the following: advise all traditional undergraduate students via email, telephone or in person to spectrum health and spectrum business and other spectrum students as well as current, returning, independent study, integrated learning, traditional, first time freshmen, transfer and transient students; assist students as they progress toward their degree; update students progress toward their intended major; research and review student files; perform initial graduation audits and advise students accordingly.
