POSITION: Administrative Secretary – School of Leadership

QUALIFICATIONS:
The successful candidate must have an Office Administration Certificate with 1 year’s work experience or equivalent work experience, associate’s degree in business or a related field is preferred; 1-2 years experience in the use of various office software; experience in an office setting required; ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing; ability to multitask; skilled in organizing resources and establishing priorities; skilled in the use of computers and Microsoft software applications.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Essential functions of the job include, but are not limited to the following: assist department in organizing and maintaining files, faxing, copying, typing, answering phones, greeting office guests, performing general office duties; maintain adjunct faculty files with all required information; prepare Academic Services Processing forms for faculty; track and update faculty information using Leadership Checklists; maintains faculty textbook inventory to include ordering texts and materials from publishers, sending texts and materials to faculty and updated inventory spreadsheets; maintain office supply inventory and order office supplies as needed; distributes incoming correspondence and mail.

EFFECTIVE:
Immediate. Position will remain open until filled.
