Has my financial aid/third party payment been posted yet?
You can view your account online to see if a particular payment has been posted to your account. If you have questions or concerns after you view your account, then you may wish to contact Financial Aid Office for financial aid matters or student accounts for any other matters.

I withdrew from these classes. Why am I still being charged?  What is the difference between drop and withdrawal?
The Add/Drop period is usually the first week of school after the first day of class.

After the Add/Drop period, we adhere to the refund policy when a student withdraws from a class. Please refer to the current semester’s course schedule for the withdrawal refund policy that is applicable to your charges. There is no refund for students who withdraw from cohort, Independent Study or online courses unless you withdraw from all the courses AND you have received financial aid. If you have any questions, please contact Student Accounts. Also remember that your level of registration may impact your financial aid. Therefore, you may wish to also contact Financial Aid before withdrawing from any class.

May I charge an IS Extension Fee, Graduation Application Fee, Class Transfer Fee, Housing Deposit, etc. to my account?
No. These fees must be paid for up front and cannot be charged to your student account.

I have not received my refund check.  What is the status?  Has it been mailed?
The refunds are now issued by Sallie Mae Bank – you will need to setup your information and you can track your refund by going to the website or you can go to Cougar Web and click on the announcement pertaining to refunds.

My award letter states that today is my anticipated disbursement date. However, my financial aid has not posted to my account.  Why?
The disbursement date is an anticipated date and your aid may or may not come in on the exact date given.
