Non-Degree Certificate Programs
Students enrolled in Certificate programs will be evaluated at the end of each semester (including Summer 1, Summer 2, Fall, and Spring terms). At that point, completion rate and cumulative GPA will be examined. Students who have not successfully completed at least 67% of attempted credit hours or who have a cumulative GPA below 2.0 will be placed on Financial Aid Warning. The warning period will be for the next 12 credit hours attempted. At the end of the warning period the student will:
- Be removed from Financial Aid warning status because both cumulative GPA and cumulative completion rate standards are met, or
- Be placed on Financial Aid Probation status and become ineligible from receiving Financial Aid assistance. Students will receive a Financial Aid Probation letter.
The Financial Aid Probation appeal procedures follow the same policy and procedure for both undergraduate and graduate students.
