Independent Study

Study your way, wherever you are.

You deserve the best -- financially and otherwise. If you've never attended college or quit early to start your military career, you may now consider it next to impossible to attain your degree -- an essential part of your success and future security.

Mountain State University makes it possible by bringing the classroom into your barracks, ship or home via learning options that are sensitive to the needs of busy adults serving our country. MSU's Independent Study offers you the opportunity to study independently at your own pace and convenience with faculty members providing guidance and feedback.

There are nearly 300 Independent Study courses currently available; each course is designed to help you meet specific degree requirements. Independent Study allows for open and continuous enrollment, and you have four months to complete a course.
