LeaderTalk is an extension of Mountain State University's Charles H. Polk School of Leadership and Professional Development, where we strive to make leadership practical and accessible for everyone, every day.

We offer leadership degrees at all levels, for leaders at all levels within organizations. All our action-oriented programs encourage immediate application of leadership learning and are offered in-seat or online, in a supportive team environment (cohort).

Our Bachelor of Science Organizational Leadership (BSOL) is a degree completion program for adult learners. When you enroll in our BSOL program, you can:

Transfer undergraduate credits from other accredited institutions
Receive college credit for documented experience and training
Complete your degree in four semesters

Our Master of Science Strategic Leadership (MSSL) is an excellent starting point for you graduate studies in leadership. In our masters program, you can:

Complete your degree in about eighteen months
Improve your written and verbal communication skills
Learn and practice strategies for problem solving and conflict resolution
Understand how organizations work, becoming strategic about long-term planning, goal setting, and follow-up

Our Doctor of Executive Leadership (DEL) is an intensely practical and academically rigorous program. Students in the DEL learn how to lead an organization at the highest levels. In this program, we are training scholar-leaders in the field of leadership. Scholar-practitioners conserve, generate, and transform leadership learning. As a student in our DEL, you will:

Complete an action-oriented research project
Participate in seminars, group learning experiences, and a once-yearly residency at our main campus in Beckley, WV
Interact with our highly experienced, caring faculty as they provide support and direction during your study
