Electronic Database Instructions

The best way to learn how to use online databases is by actually going in and using them. Contact Sue Phillips, the Academic Resource Librarian, at suephil@mountainstate.edu for the required usernames and passwords.

Credo Reference

Credo Reference is a collection of online reference books.

Step 1: Click on Credo Reference link.

Step 2: Put in your bar code number.

Step 3: Enter your search terms in the search box.

• You can sort your results by relevance, date or length by clicking on the appropriate circle.
• You can limit your search by subject, title, date or feature.
• When ready, click on "Search."

Step 4: Click on the article.

Step 5: The print, e-mail, and save buttons are on each entry.
