Electronic Database Instructions

The best way to learn how to use online databases is by actually going in and using them. Contact Sue Phillips, the Academic Resource Librarian, at suephil@mountainstate.edu for the required usernames and passwords.

Gale Virtual Reference Library

Gale Virtual Reference Library is a collection of online reference books.

Step 1: Click on the Gale Virtual Reference Library link.

Step 2: Enter your bar code number.

Step 3: Enter your topic in the search box.

Step 4: Click on "Select" beside the Gale Virtual Reference Library link, then click on "Search."

Step 5: Click on the entry you wish to read.

Step 6: The print, e-mail and save buttons are in the "Tools" box.
