Electronic Database Instructions

The best way to learn how to use online databases is by actually going in and using them. Contact Sue Phillips, the Academic Resource Librarian, at suephil@mountainstate.edu for the required usernames and passwords.

The NetLibrary

The NetLibrary is access to a full-text e-books collection.

Step 1: Click on the NetLibrary link.

Step 2: Log in by using the provided username and password.

Step 3: Type your topic in the search box and click on “Search”

Step 4: To access desired book, click on "View this e-book" link under the title and abstract.

Step 5: Click on the appropriate chapter list at the left of the screen. The chapter will download on the right.

• Turn pages by clicking on "Previous" or "Next" above the text.
