Electronic Database Instructions

The best way to learn how to use online databases is by actually going in and using them. Contact Sue Phillips, the Academic Resource Librarian, at suephil@mountainstate.edu for the required usernames and passwords.

Reference USA

ReferenceUSA has information on businesses across the United States and the people who run them.

Step 1: Click on the ReferenceUSA link.

Step 2: Click on the database drop down menu and select the appropriate link for your topic.

Step 3: Enter the name of the company and the location; hit "Search Now."

Step 4: Click on Details or go to “Corporate Family” lineage (arrows) for an over-view of the company.
