Electronic Database Instructions

The best way to learn how to use online databases is by actually going in and using them. Contact Sue Phillips, the Academic Resource Librarian, at suephil@mountainstate.edu for the required usernames and passwords.

Salem Health

Salem Health provides access to Magill’s Medical Guide.

Step 1: Click on the Salem Health link.

Step 2: Enter your library bar code number.

Step 3: Enter topic in "Find" box.

Step 4: Click on "Search Now."

Step 5: Limit results by clicking on the tabs at the top of the results.

Step 6: Click on the title link.

Step 7: Each article contains additional facts in the left-hand column.
