Electronic Database Instructions

The best way to learn how to use online databases is by actually going in and using them. Contact Sue Phillips, the Academic Resource Librarian, at suephil@mountainstate.edu for the required usernames and passwords.

Standard & Poor’s NetAdvantage

Standard & Poor’s NetAdvantage gives detailed descriptions of businesses on a quarterly basis.

Step 1: Click on the Standard & Poor’s link.

Step 2: Use the links to choose the type of business to be searched.

Step 3: Select the publication type.

Step 4: Search by ticker designation or company name.

• Enter the ticker designation or company name and click on the arrow.

Step 5: Links to detailed reports are in the left-hand column.
