One of Mountain State University's four branch campuses, MSU Martinsburg serves not only the eastern panhandle region of West Virginia, but also surrounding areas in Maryland, Virginia, and Pennsylvania with outstanding educational programs and services.

MSU's main campus is in Beckley, W.Va. Selected programs are also offered at sites throughout West Virginia.

Hybrid Studies at Martinsburg

MSU's unique hybrid study classes combine the best elements of a classroom environment and technology-enhanced learning. In hybrid study, courses are self-paced and available in 8- or 16-week terms (but flexible enough to allow for accelerated completion). It is taught primarily by facilitators who serve as mentors and design an enriched learning experience for their students. These facilitators adapt to each student's needs by using a combination of telephone, e-mail, and MSU's online Blackboard system and campus interactions.

Hybrid Studies

Mountain State University's hybrid study option incorporates a range of new methods to create a guided learning experience. Currently available only on MSU's Martinsburg campus, hybrid study at MSU combines such elements as DVD lectures, films on demand, online video clips, and other electronic resources--along with group interaction in discussions and projects. Students experience learning in a unique enriched environment.

General Education

Any undergraduate degree includes a component of general education requirements. MSU's Mooresville campus offers general education studies in a convenient, one evening a week format structured to accommodate schedules of working adult. Online Programs
