Mountain State University routinely collects data from students regarding their perceptions, intellectual growth, and skills development. Student learning assessments contribute significantly to institutional effectiveness, particularly in measuring and evaluating the graduate student experience, and assessment activities are integrated into each course plan of work. The University carefully reviews assessment results and constantly seeks ways to improve program content, delivery, and learning outcomes. Graduate students are required to demonstrate a breadth of knowledge and skills commensurate with expectations and proficiency in their academic major and to participate in all assessment activities requested by their program.
