Graduate Committee
GRADUATE CATALOG INDEX

Students who are required to form a graduate committee must ensure that the group meets program requirements. In general, the number of graduate committee members should be sufficient to accomplish the required tasks. Your program administrator may serve as chair of your committee or designate a chair. Other members may be selected from the University’s faculty, faculty members at other colleges or universities, and qualified individuals outside academia.

In some programs, a mentoring team can take the place of a graduate committee. See the program descriptions for details.
