401 Multidisciplinary Aspects of Gerontology (3)
Examines philosophical, physiological, psychological, and sociological issues pertaining to aging and the aging adult. Provides an overview of factors that affect healthy aging.

490 Independent Studies (3–6)
Supervised practicum in a community agency or facility that deals with the elderly or a proposal in an area of current gerontological research.
