BACHELOR’S DEGREE REQUIREMENTS

All bachelor’s degree students are required to complete 36 hours of general education courses in communication skills, computer proficiency, English composition, humanities and fine arts, mathematics, natural sciences, and social sciences.* Before selecting general education courses, check course listings for any prerequisites or corequisites and review your program of study for specific course requirements. In some cases, a limited portion of general education requirements can be fulfilled through program-specific courses.

Communication Skills: 3 hours
Select from the following courses:

COMM 200 Prin of Communication in Health Care
COMM 203 Intro to Human Comm
COMM 204 Intro to Speech Comm
COMM 250 Interpersonal Comm
ENGL 220 Technical Writing

*Bachelor’s degree students at MSU Center Township are required to complete 40 hours of general education requirements. See the Center Township catalog or contact a campus administrator for a list of general education requirements.

Computer Proficiency: 3 hours

English Composition: 6 hours
