The elementary teacher preparation program consists of general studies that prepare students for transfer to a specialized program in education to complete their bachelor’s degree and other state requirements for teacher certification. Early planning is necessary to ensure that you meet the requirements of the program through which you plan to complete your requirements and those of the state in which you plan to teach.
