GENERAL STUDIES (A.S., A.A.)
School of Arts and Sciences

The general studies program provides an Associate of Science or Associate of Arts curriculum for students who are undecided or who wish to study in a field outside the University’s established academic programs. Students who plan to enroll in a school of dentistry, medicine, or pharmacy should plan their curriculum with the assistance of a School of Health Sciences advisor. The program is offered through distance learning as well as traditional classroom study. See the Options for Nontraditional and Distance Education chapter for details.
