APPLIED TECHNOLOGY (A.S.)
School of Extended and Distance Education
The Associate of Science degree in applied technology is available to graduates of University-affiliated vocational, technical, and business schools. The program allows students to earn an associate degree by combining three components: prior learning credit for the studies they have already completed at the affiliate school, the Spectrum integrated general education program (listed in the General Education Requirements section), and an individualized program of Individualized Study courses.
Upon completing the A.S. in applied technology, students who wish to pursue a bachelor’s degree are qualified to begin the B.S. program in organizational leadership, listed in the School of Leadership and Professional Development section.
