Aviation Application Instructions

Welcome, and thank you for your interest in the Mountain State University aviation program.

Before we take you to the online application, here are a few tips to make completing the electronic application form a little easier.

First, please note that the REQUIRED fields are marked with an asterisk (*). If the field has an * beside it, it has to be filled in for the form to be processed. Most fields do not have an * and do not have to be filled in, but we would appreciate it if you would provide the information so we can better serve you.

Second, most required fields have obvious answers, but a few could use some additional explanation. Below is a list of some potential trouble spots:

Anticipated Academic Enroll Year and Term*

Make sure you select the correct semester, as there are options to apply for semesters that are in progress or have already ended.

Program of Interest

While this is not a required field you should know that there are three aviation-related programs: the AS in Aviation, the BS in Aviation, and the BS in Organizational Leadership. Selecting one of these will help assure that your application is handled by the appropriate department.

Which campus would you like to attend?*

There is a long list of locations in the drop down menu. Select “Independent Study”, unless you plan on enrolling in an Organizational Leadership program at one of the specified locations. In that case select the appropriate location.

Were you previously enrolled at our school?*

This field is listed on this page only because it is near the bottom of the form and is easy to miss.
