This program is administered to each student individually in the independent study method and is ideal for working aviation professionals. The degree includes more aviation specific coursework and permits the maximum allowance for college credit from FAA certificates and ratings. It offers a high degree of flexibility but requires students to study as individual learners under the direction of a MSU faculty member.
The Bachelor of Science in Aviation degree utilizes four components in preparing students for a career in aviation. These components are:

Mountain State University awards credit based on FAA Certificates and Ratings. To qualify for this program, a student must have FAA Ratings and Certificates equivalent to at least 25 credit hours.
