Office Administration at MSU

Mountain State University’s Associate of Science degree in Office Administration can prepare you for a variety of careers in accounting, medical offices, education, government, industry, or business, with an option of concentrations in secretarial or medical course work. Whether you desire a firm foundation in office technology, or you wish to update your current administrative skills, MSU’s Office Administration program can help you run a business office more efficiently.

You will learn records management, word processing, document preparation, transcription, and human relations skills that will prepare you for success in your office environment. Through advanced communication proficiencies such as business letter writing, contract preparation, report writing, and spreadsheet development, you will learn to handle a variety of office and administrative tasks with professional skill.

Both medical and secretarial concentrations are offered with the Associate of Science degree in office administration. A separate Administrative Assistant certificate program is also available.

Graduates from MSU’s Office Administration program have a strong framework for developing the people skills essential for job success.
